"If My Heart Had Wings" is a romantic love song written by Fred Knobloch and Annie Roboff, and recorded by American country music singer Faith Hill. It was released in January 2001 as the fourth and final single from her album Breathe. The song hit number 3 on the Hot Country Songs chart[1] in 2001, and number 39 on the pop Billboard Hot 100.

It was subsequently performed by Haley Scarnato on the highly-rated sixth season of American Idol, giving it extra mainstream exposure.
