Benjamin Franklin "Buck" Belue played [2] Belue was named captain of the 1981 team.[3]

Belue also lettered in baseball all four years at Georgia.[4] His career batting average at Georgia was .356 and he went on to play 3 years in the [7]

He is also the only quarterback to start all four years for the Valdosta Wildcats, the most successful[8] high school team in the nation, where he was inducted as a member of the Valdosta High School Hall of Fame in 2007.
