Helix lucorum is a species of large, edible, air-breathing land snail or escargot, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Helicidae, the typical snails.
Description

This species of snail makes and uses love darts.
Adult snails weight about 20-25 g.[3]

Ecology
The size of the egg is 4.4 mm.[7] 2–3 months old juvenile snails weight 0.5-0.9 g.[3]
