Jana Čepelová (born 29 May 1993 in Košice) is a Slovak tennis player.
Čepelová has won five singles and three doubles titles on the ITF tour in her career. On 12 May 2014, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 50. On 8 July 2013, she peaked at world number 186 in the doubles rankings.
As a junior, Čepelová won the girls' doubles event at the 2010 Australian Open with Chantal Škamlová, defeating Tímea Babos and Gabriela Dabrowski in the final.[1]
Čepelová reached the third round of the 2012 Wimbledon Championships, where she fell in straight sets to second seed Victoria Azarenka.
At the 2014 Family Circle Cup in Charleston, Čepelová recorded the biggest victory of her career, defeating world number one and two-time tournament defending champion Serena Williams in the second round in straight sets.[2][3] She proceeded to reach her first career WTA final at the same tournament, losing to Andrea Petkovic in straight sets.[4][5]

Čepelová was born to Peter and Jarmila and she is currently coached by Martin Zathurecký.[6]
